Farci thinks about countering with a head kick. A right-left combo lands from Lambert. #CUT2# It looks like Chou Farci has been cut. Lambert steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Farci. Lambert with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Farci to score with a decent uppercut. Lambert slips a straight right by Farci. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Lambert bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Farci's head. Farci throws a head kick that misses. Lambert throws a one two combo.
Farci looks to score with a jab to the body but Lambert is just out of range. Mike Lambert seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. No joy there for Lambert, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Lambert unleashes a big counter combination but Farci bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. Nice shot by Farci. A punch combination from Lambert misses. Lambert staying out of range there. Lambert was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind. Lambert scores with a one two! Farci had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Lambert rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Farci moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Farci avoids a punch combination nicely.

and Farci counters with a good, hard body kick but Lambert shrugs it off. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. A big right from Farci misses. Lambert swinging wildly here.
Lambert throws an off balance right hand
and Farci makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Lambert throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Farci's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Lambert dives in looking to finish as Farci flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Lambert's strikes! Lambert is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Farci's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Farci was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.

God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! A clash of legs there as Vos blocks the low kick. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Vos is defended easily by Cobblepot. That was a close round but I would say that Oswald Cobblepot will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. #R2# Vos throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Cobblepot's waist but Cobblepot gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Vos off to one side. Vos on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Vos takes a body punch but keeps moving. Vos darts in trying to clinch and Cobblepot counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. A solid leg kick lands there for Cobblepot.

Vos looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Cobblepot puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Cobblepot is really dominating this fight. #CUT# It looks like Tom Vos has been cut. Adams pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Vos throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Adams throws a big shot that misses. Adams throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Vos sees it coming and avoids it easily. Vos has a takedown stuffed. Adams staying out of range there. In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Tom Vos! A very excited looking Tom Vos rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.

#R1# Vos tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Archer manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Vos tries to clinch but Archer moves out of range. Archer lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Vos circles away quickly and effectively. Archer is looking to slow Vos down with leg kicks. Vos tries to score a power double leg takedown but Archer sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Vos somewhat. Vos shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Archer pinned against the cage. Archer gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Vos looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Archer lands with a nice body punch. #T1# Archer takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
#CL2# Archer closes the distance and clinches. #BC2# Archer escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Vos throws a lazy right hand but Archer sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Archer swats away the attempt to clinch by Vos. Nice defenses there by Archer.#CL2# Vos tries to keep at a distance but Archer has taken the fight into the clinch.#TD2# Archer has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Vos is trying to keep an underhook but Archer manages to get the takedown into half guard. Archer with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Vos is trying to get back to full guard.#T2# Archer is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Vos! Archer controlling the position easily from mount. This has been an exciting period of action! Archer's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Vos is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Vos takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Archer cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Vos tries to lock up and control but Archer gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Vos tries to reverse the position but Archer maintains control. Archer is in the full mount, landing strikes. #T3# Vos is looking to improve his position but Archer isn't that keen on the idea. Archer controlling from the full mount. Archer punishing his opponent with strikes. Vos is looking to improve his position but Archer isn't that keen on the idea. Archer tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Vos bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!#SUB2# Archer throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Vos escapes and throws Archer's legs to the side, diving into side control! #SUB# Vos tries for a kimura but Archer is defending well. #T4##SUB# Vos is trying to get an arm triangle but Archer is defending well. Archer tries to buck Vos off but Vos is having none of it. Vos controls the position. Archer is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Vos off and has taken his back! Vos tries to break free.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. I would not like to be Vos right now.

Aaron Archer dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. #R2# Archer defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Vos. Archer has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Archer jabs at Vos's body. Archer cracks a nice hook into Vos's ribs. Archer connects with a crisp jab. #CUT2# It looks like Tom Vos has been cut. Archer thuds his right hand into Vos's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Vos throws a looping overhand right but Archer ducks down to avoid it. Archer drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Vos defends it well. A slow jab from Vos misses its intended target. Vos walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Archer lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Vos slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Vos takes one to the side of the head.
#ROC2# Vos is rocked! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Archer fakes the body blow, causing Vos to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Vos goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Aaron Archer! Aaron Archer opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
