#R1# Struve misses with a takedown and Tatum counters with a nice uppercut. Struve doesn't succeed with the takedown and Tatum cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Struve tries for a takedown but Tatum circles away easily letting Tatum counter with a right hand. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Stefan Struve. That's going to take a lot out of him. Struve with a lazy takedown attempt and Struve takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Tatum throws out a powerful jab. Struve doesn't succeed with the takedown and Tatum counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Struve fails with the takedown and Struve takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Stefan Struve seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Struve has his takedown stuffed letting Tatum counter with a right hand. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Struve gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Tatum connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.#T1# Struve tries for a takedown but Tatum circles away easily and Tatum counters with a straight right hand. Struve is breathing heavily. Struve with a poor takedown and Tatum cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Tatum lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
#KD2# Tatum lands a big uppercut and Struve crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Struve looks OK. Tatum waves Struve back to his feet!#ROC2# Struve is rocked! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Tatum with a jab. Oh Struve is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Struve circles to his right, straight into a beautiful hook by Tatum. Struve falls face first into the canvas - great knockout victory for Tatum!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Drederik Tatum! A pretty intense looking Drederik Tatum took the opportunity post-fight to ask for a shot at the title.

#R1##KD# Oh, that's a big right hand from Jesus and Struve goes tumbling to the canvas! Jesus follows him to the ground and looks to finish from half guard. #CUT# It looks like Stefan Struve has been cut. Struve is looking to control Jesus's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Struve avoid being mounted? Jesus trying to control the action but Struve is working from the bottom. #SUB2# Struve looking for submissions off his back. Struve is trying to control but Jesus manages to pass to mount!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Jesus fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
#ROC# Struve is rocked! Jesus loads up with a big shot that hurts Struve! He's pulled Jesus in close but Jesus has postured up and lands more strikes. Can Struve survive? More strikes from Jesus and Struve is out! The ref jumps in to save him! Brutal ground and pound!
