#R1# Geerestein has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Bolkiah. Geerestein is looking to land body kicks. Geerestein looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Faiq Bolkiah seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Geerestein clobbers Bolkiah with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. #CUT2# It looks like Faiq Bolkiah has been cut. Geerestein comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Bolkiah throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Geerestein on the side of the head. #CUT# It looks like Johan Geerestein has been cut. Bolkiah delivers a nice body kick. Geerestein slips a straight right by Bolkiah. Geerestein lands a jab. Geerestein connects with a good right hand that stumbles Bolkiah. Bolkiah circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Bolkiah misses with a body kick. Bolkiah walks into a straight right hand from Geerestein. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Bolkiah moves forwards but Geerestein connects with a nice, crisp jab. Geerestein blocks a head kick by Bolkiah.

Bolkiah misses with a body kick.#KD# Bolkiah lands a head kick that bluckles Geerestein and drops him to the canvas. He's still conscious but it looks like it's going to take him the full 10 seconds to get back his senses! He's up on 9 and seems to be just about OK to continue.... the referee agrees and we're back to the action with Bolkiah no doubt looking to push for a finish! Geerestein on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Look low, kick high! Bolkiah uses the oldest trick in the book to send Geerestein tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Bolkiah is absolutely delighted - when Geerestein wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!

A victorious Faiq Bolkiah thanked his army of followers in his post fight interview, telling people to make sure they follow him on Twitter. Johan Geerestein spoke after the fight, saying 'What is wrong with me?! JEEEZUS!?!!%!'.

#R1# Bolkiah misses with a left hand and Maciver counters with a straight right hand. Maciver misses with a straight left. Maciver has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! A solid leg kick lands there for Bolkiah.
Bolkiah throws a head kick but Maciver moves out of range.
#CL# Bolkiah gets in close and instigates a clinch. Maciver lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Bolkiah tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Bolkiah tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Maciver's elbow. Maciver tries a body shot but Bolkiah blocks it.
Bolkiah swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Maciver pushes Bolkiah back against the ropes and unloads with a body punch. Maciver with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.

A nice right hand lands inside from Maciver. With the fighters clinched against the ropes, Maciver creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Maciver misses with a knee strike.

Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Maciver has Bolkiah pushed against the ropes. Maciver lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Bolkiah backwards. Maciver tries to land a knee to the head but misses.

#ROC2# Bolkiah is rocked! Maciver creates a bit of space and fires a knee right up the middle, almost lifting Bolkiah off his feet and sending him crashing to the canvas! Bolkiah is trying to get back to his feet but his equilibrium is completely gone! The referee has called it off! This fight is over! Maciver is jumping up and down like a mad man, celebrating with his cornermen.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knee). Donal Maciver! In defeat, Faiq Bolkiah stepped up to the mic, saying 'I got distracted by his Pokemon.'.

Smith doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter. Smith throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Smith misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Bolkiah.
Bolkiah half committed to a counter leg kick. Smith checks a leg kick nicely. Bolkiah doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Smith walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Bolkiah checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Smith swats away the attempt to clinch by Bolkiah. Bolkiah throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body. Bolkiah tries to clinch there but Smith circles away.
Smith appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick. Bolkiah throws a push kick but Smith slaps the foot to one side. Bolkiah uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Smith.
Smith takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Bolkiah throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Bolkiah throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He's stumbling all over the place and has face planted into the ropes, causing the referee to call an end to the fight! What a finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Front Kick). Faiq Bolkiah! A relieved looking Faiq Bolkiah thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
