#R1# Pokka fails to land the takedown. Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Resic. Pokka shrugs it off though. Resic throws a hook to the side of Pokka's head but Pokka sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Resic throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Pokka swats away the attempt to clinch by Resic. Pokka lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick. Resic tries for a takedown but Pokka circles away easily letting Pokka counter with a right hand. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pokka shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Resic defends it nicely. Resic throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Pokka looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit.#T1##CL2# Resic takes the fight into the clinch. #TD2# Resic jumps guard and drags Pokka to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Pokka not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. #SU# Pokka stands up and waves to Resic to follow him. Pokka will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Resic has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Resic goes for a double leg but Pokka avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Pokka continues to drive forward. Pokka appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick. Pokka uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Resic.

He shot from a bit too far out. Resic fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Pokka avoids it really well and circles away. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! #SUB2# Resic has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Pokka can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Pokka controlling from the top position. Resic is breathing heavily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pokka won't allow Resic to sweep him here. #T1# Pokka missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. #SUB2# Resic working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Pokka doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Pokka shoots in looking for a takedown but Resic manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Pokka's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.#CL# The fight moves into the clinch position. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Pokka looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.#TD# Pokka gets control of Resic's arms and successfully pulls guard. Pokka will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.#T3##SUB# Pokka has his foot on Resic's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Resic works his way back into a safe position though. Resic trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Pokka trying to keep a closed guard but Resic is proving a slippery customer.

Pokka is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Resic can do to turn this around? Pokka has Resic pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. #T4# Resic throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Pokka works some decent striking defense from the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Resic postures up.

Resic tries to free his leg and advance position but Pokka is retaining full guard. Pokka throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
