#R1# Perkman tries to land a body kick and Vacon counters with an outside leg kick.
Vacon lands with a kick to the ribs.
Vacon feints and then cracks Perkman's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Perkman down. A solid leg kick lands there for Vacon.
Perkman slips a jab from Vacon. A lazy left from Vacon finds it's target. Vacon throws a head kick that half lands.
Vacon lands a nice looking body kick. Vacon is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Vacon thuds his shin into the meat of Perkman's side.#CL# Perkman clinches with his opponent.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Vacon tries to land knees in the clinch but Perkman avoids the damage to the body. Vacon misses with a hook to the ribs.

Oh Perkman is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Julius Perkman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. No luck with that takedown attempt from Perkman. Perkman is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Perkman seems to have got his legs back now.#T2# Perkman walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Vacon is looking to clinch. Perkman pulls out of a head kick attempt.
#CL# Perkman pushes Vacon up against the cage in a clinch. Vacon tries to land knees in the clinch but Perkman avoids the damage to the body. Vacon working hard to break the clinch. Perkman is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Vacon to keep the fight standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Julius Perkman. That's going to take a lot out of him. Vacon looking to throw knees to the head but Perkman is blocking nicely.
Vacon throws a punch but it's blocked by Perkman. Vacon misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Perkman.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Perkman on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

Perkman throws a lazy head kick and Vacon counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Perkman misses with a leg kick and Vacon counters with a nice leg kick. Perkman misses with a leg kick and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Good leg kick by Vacon there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Perkman is breathing heavily. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Vacon throws a front kick that sends Perkman stumbling back into the cage. Vacon connects with a leg kick. Perkman looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Rick Vacon is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Vacon is looking to slow Perkman down with leg kicks. A slapping leg kick lands for Vacon.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Perkman closes the distance and clinches up with Vacon, looking for a takedown. Perkman pushes Vacon against the cage but Vacon circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. It seemed like Vacon was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Rick Vacon seems to be getting the better of the standup. Perkman shoots in but no luck this time. #TD# Perkman closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. #T1# Perkman is looking to take a break and control but Vacon is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Perkman is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Vacon's shoulder. That is not cool. You can see the frustration on Vacon's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Perkman trying to control the position but Vacon is working away. #SU# Perkman stands up and we're back to a striking position. #T2# My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Vacon fakes the leg kick and cracks Perkman in the body. Vacon scores with a leg kick.
Vacon thuds his shin into the meat of Perkman's side. Horrible takedown attempt by Perkman or perhaps it was just good defense by Vacon, which made it look bad. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Julius Perkman. That's going to take a lot out of him. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Perkman tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Vacon counters with a nice leg kick. Perkman shoots in looking for a takedown but Vacon manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Perkman's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.#T3# Perkman misses with a body kick. A countering left hand to the body from Vacon misses. Perkman throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Vacon counters with a nice body kick.
Julius Perkman is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Vacon scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Perkman takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Perkman throws a sloppy head kick and Vacon counters with a flying knee. Nice. Perkman stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Vacon. Vacon fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Vacon moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Nice sprawl there from Vacon as Perkman shoots in. Vacon lands a leg kick that knocks Perkman off balance momentarily. Vacon plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!#T4# This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! A nice leg kick lands there from Vacon. #KD2# Vacon lands a big head kick that sends Perkman tumbling to the mat! Vacon takes a step backwards and waves Perkman back to his feet - he wants the finish! Vacon moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Vacon wants to clinch. Vacon connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Vacon scores with a kick to the midsection. Vacon throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Perkman on the side of the head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rick Vacon showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round! #R3# Vacon's jab looks to have found its range, popping Perkman under the eye. Perkman fails in his attempt to clinch. #CL# Perkman gets in close and instigates a clinch. Perkman tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Perkman scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly! Perkman tries to clinch up but Vacon circles away and keeps his distance. Vacon tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Perkman was well out of range. Poor timing from Vacon. Perkman appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Vacon lands with a kick to the temple. Perkman shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Ouch! a nice leg kick from Vacon, right into the meat.
Perkman on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Perkman with a lazy takedown attempt and Vacon counters with a huge head kick that drops Perkman! The ref dives in to stop the fight and the crowd goes wild!

#R1# Skatias lands a nice shot to the body.
Skatias has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. Perkman shoots in for a double leg but Skatias sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Skatias circles away from the clinch attempt and Skatias counters with a lovely straight right hand!#ROC2# Perkman is rocked! Skatias clobbers Perkman with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Oh Perkman is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! The fight stays on the outside here - Perkman looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Skatias throws a counter combo. Perkman throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Perkman seems to have got his legs back now. Perkman takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Perkman has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Skatias finds it's way round the side to connect with Perkman's head. Skatias lands a nice looking body shot.
Perkman shoots and misses and Skatias counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Perkman closes the distance but Skatias moves to the side #KD2# and Skatias counters with a beautiful punch that sends Perkman to the canvas! #T1# Perkman tries to land a sweep but no joy. Skatias must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.#SU2# Skatias gets to his feet. Perkman looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Skatias throws an overhand right that has Perkman reeling! Skatias follows up with more punches and Perkman is out cold! This one is all over!
