Dahlen avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. #SUB2# Dahlen is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. #SUB2# Dahlen looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Dahlen looking to hit a scissor sweep but Simon is one step ahead there. Simon could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Dahlen is on top in guard.

#R1# Simon uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Siedenkranz.
Simon lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick. Siedenkranz throws a combination that misses #TD# and Simon counters with a nice double leg into guard. Siedenkranz looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Simon with a nice head shot there. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Siedenkranz holds on and takes a little breather. Siedenkranz is trying to control the position but Simon postures up. Siedenkranz is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Brooks is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Brooks is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Simon's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Simon's back! Simon has his hands over his head blocking the strikes from Brooks. Brooks tries to keep control of the position but Simon is staying busy. Brooks has Simon flattened out and is raining down punches. #R1# The fight stays on the outside here - Cena looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Cena moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
John Cena seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Cena darts in and out, connecting with a jab. #CL2# Cena has closed the distance and engaged Simon in a clinch.
Cena tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Simon's elbow. A nice left hand lands by Cena.

Simon drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Cena follows Simon to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
