#R1##KD2# Armstrong drops Ashkir with a beautiful combination! Ashkir stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Armstrong is looking for the KO!#ROC2# Ashkir is rocked! A combination from Armstrong does no damage. Oh Ashkir is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Armstrong has cracked Ashkir with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Armstrong lands another huge swinging hook and Ashkir tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Ashkir, before Armstrong can land any more shots!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:07 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Ajax Armstrong! Cabaas Ashkir spoke after the fight, saying 'congrats, deserved but I will be back'.

#R1# Ashkir tries for a takedown but Robot sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Robot throws a body kick that misses and Ashkir cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Ashkir shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Horrible takedown attempt by Robot or perhaps it was just good defense by Ashkir, which made it look bad. Ashkir darts in looking for a takedown but Robot gets double underhooks and turns Ashkir into the cage. Ashkir tries for a takedown but Robot sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Cabaas Ashkir. That's going to take a lot out of him. Robot keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Ashkir misses with a takedown attempt - Robot sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Robot misses with a series of wild punches.
Ashkir tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Ashkir shoots in but no luck this time. Ashkir closes this distance looking for a takedown but Robot circles away.#T1# Robot will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Robot throws a series of punches but Ashkir moves out of range. Ashkir is looking for a counter combo. Ashkir fails with a takedown attempt. Robot throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Ashkir. Robot throws a series of strikes that have Ashkir backpedaling.
#CL2# Robot closes the distance and pushes Ashkir back into the cage. Ashkir lands with a right to the head. Ashkir lands a nice elbow. #BC2# Robot's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Robot will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Ashkir moves away from the strike by Robot. #T2# Robot shoots in looking for a takedown. Ashkir tries to sprawl out of it but Robot keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Ashkir manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Robot looks winded! A low kick from Robot is predictable there #CL# and Ashkir counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Ashkir. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Ashkir lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. A short left from Ashkir. Robot takes a knee right on the jaw!

#BC2# Robot pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Robot throws a lazy right hand but Ashkir sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Ashkir shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Robot sprawls well. Robot wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Ashkir gets slowly back to his feet.#T3# Ashkir scores with a jab. Robot acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Robot lands a two punch combo.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Robot. A looping hook to the body misses from Robot. Ashkir does a little dance to reset his feet. Horrible takedown attempt by Ashkir or perhaps it was just good defense by Robot, which made it look bad. Robot closes the distance and clinches up with Ashkir, looking for a takedown. Robot pushes Ashkir against the cage but Ashkir circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Ashkir.#T4# Robot tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Ashkir defends well and Robot ends up having to push Ashkir into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Ashkir shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Robot sprawls well. Robot wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Ashkir gets slowly back to his feet. Robot leaves Ashkir with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.#CL# Robot tries to keep at a distance but Ashkir has taken the fight into the clinch. Ashkir lands with a left to the head. A short right hand to the side of the head by Ashkir. A short right from Ashkir on the inside. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Ashkir throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Robots head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Robot scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. A combination from Robot does no damage. Ashkir is looking for a counter combo. Robot throws a push kick but Ashkir slaps the foot to one side. Robot looks to land a body kick but Ashkir moved away. Ashkir looks for a takedown but Robot sprawls well. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Robot looks to land a combination but Ashkir avoids it well. Robot has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Ashkir wants to clinch up but Robot keeps it at a distance. Robot looks for the body kick but Ashkir saw that one coming. #CL# Ashkir clinches up with Robot and pushes him back against the cage. Ashkir lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Ashkir lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Robot backwards. Robot drops down looking for an ankle pick but Ashkir pulls his leg out and moves away.
Robot throws a lazy body kick and Ashkir counters with a one-two to the body. Robot shoots for a takedown but Ashkir saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Ashkir darts in looking for a takedown but Robot gets double underhooks and turns Ashkir into the cage. #T3# Ashkir tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Robot swivels and escapes. Robot feints a jab promting Ashkir to slip. Robot then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Ashkir slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Ashkir will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Robot misses with a wild body shot. Ashkir fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Robot avoids it really well and circles away. Ashkir wants to clinch up but Robot keeps it at a distance. Robot throws a right and a left that Ashkir avoids nicely. Ashkir changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Robot tries to avoid it but Ashkir manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Robot to the ground. Robot escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Ashkir slips a jab and a cross from Robot.

Ashkir checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Ashkir fails with a takedown attempt. Left hook, right uppercut from Robot.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Cabaas Ashkir. I think Ashkir has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Tarly pushes Ashkir back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. A short uppercut from Tarly. Ashkir being controlled against the cage. Tarly lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Ashkir backwards. Tarly definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Tarly just leaning against Ashkir, taking a breather. Ashkir prevents a body shot from Tarly. Ashkir lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Tarly backwards. Tarly lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Ashkir backwards. #ROC# Ashkir is rocked! Still in the clinch, Tarly scores with a nice short uppercut. Ashkir is still on wobbly legs! Can Tarly finish him? A body shot lands from Tarly.

#R1# Hawthorne throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Ashkir. Hawthorne is looking to clinch. Hawthorne tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Hawthorne tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Ashkir manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Ashkir wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Hawthorne looks to clinch and Ashkir counters with a nice low kick that buckles Hawthorne's knee momentarily. Ashkir fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Hawthorne has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Hawthorne tries to clinch there but Ashkir circles away.

Ashkir bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Hawthorne has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Ashkir. Ashkir lets loose with a powerful body kick. Hawthorne will feel that in the morning. Hawthorne misses with a head kick.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Cabaas Ashkir! After the fight, Cabaas Ashkir was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.

#R1# Crunch! Ashkir slams his shin into Litt's torso. Ashkir lands a nice looking kick to the body. Litt takes a step back to recover. Both fighters circling a little - Ashkir finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. Ashkir throws a quick inside leg kick. Ashkir lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Ashkir fakes the leg kick and cracks Litt in the body. Litt steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Ashkir. That one must have hurt. Ashkir chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Jab from Ashkir. Ashkir thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Litt if he has to take too many more of those.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Litt takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Ashkir lands with a nice combination. Litt backs away looking to recover. Ashkir scores with a kick to the midsection.#T1# Litt dives in and grabs Ashkir's left leg, looking for a takedown. Ashkir pushes down on Litt's head and hops out. Nice straight punches there by Ashkir. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Ashkir. Ashkir lands the left hand. Ashkir scores with a kick to the body.
Litt looks winded! Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Ashkir. Litt shrugs it off though. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Litt has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Ashkir fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.#ROC# Litt is rocked! A decent looking cross lands there for Ashkir. Litt is still on wobbly legs! Can Ashkir finish him? Ashkir lands a jab and follows it up with a massive straight that knocks Litt out cold! Litt is crumpled in the corner, his head only propped up by the cage! That's one for the organiziational promos right there! Wow, what a finish!
