Osborn half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Hardcore tries a low kick but Osborn avoids it. Osborn tries to counter with a takedown but Hardcore is quick to defend against it. Hogan must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Hogan is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Osborn wants to stand but Hogan is controlling the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Osborn saw that one coming. Osborn tries to counter with a takedown but Velasquez is quick to defend against it. Velasquez tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Osborn was well out of range. Poor timing from Velasquez. Velasquez throws a right and a left that both miss.
