Hayes connects with a crisp jab. Hayes lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Suryawan backs up against the cage.
#TD2# Hayes gets caught napping as Suryawan dives in and scores a takedown. Hayes manages to retain guard. Suryawan works over Hayes with some ground and pound from guard. Hayes is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Suryawan is controlling him. #SUB# Hayes has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Suryawan can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Suryawan scoring with punches to the head and body. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Suryawan must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Hayes wants to stand and escape but Suryawan is having none of it. Suryawan gets to his feet and stands over Hayes, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Hayes felt that one! Suryawan unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Hayes from any more punishment!
