#R1##CL# Squirell pushes MacDonald up against the cage in a clinch. Squirell misses with a shot to the kidneys.
MacDonald tries to circle away but Squirell has him pinned against the cage. MacDonald jumps guard but Squirell stands there with MacDonald around his waist. MacDonald gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Squirell working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.#CUT# It looks like Jonny MacDonald has been cut. Squirell lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of MacDonald backwards. #BC# Squirell breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Squirell definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. MacDonald misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Squirell avoids the head kick by MacDonald.
#CL# Squirell moves into the clinch. Squirell using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.
MacDonald looks winded! We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Squirell lands an uppercut. Squirell makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.#BC# Squirell breaks the clinch.
Mr Squirell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! MacDonald crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Squirell - the referee stops the clock and MacDonald gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Squirell. MacDonald manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. and Squirell counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts MacDonald! He's just covering up as Squirell starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mr Squirell! A relieved looking Mr Squirell thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it. In defeat, Jonny MacDonald stepped up to the mic, saying 'Dis was a fluke! Tat was no fight! Made a silly mistake tat wont happen again. Mark my word, ta next fight will be more prepped! I wont lose again (Scotish Accent)'.
