#R1##TD2# Bridge is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Figueroa's half guard. Figueroa is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bridge looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Bridge wants to pass the guard but Figueroa is defending well. Figueroa is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Bridge's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Bridge's back! Bridge tries to escape but Figueroa has the hooks in and won't let him break free. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Figueroa is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Figueroa gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Figueroa gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Figueroa apologises and we restart here on the feet.

#TD2# Bridge decides to pull guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Figueroa throwing strikes but missing. Bridge looking for a sweep. Not yet Bridge, not yet. #T1# Bridge has momentary wrist control but Figueroa slips an elbow through the middle. Figueroa sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Bridge's guard. Bridge has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Figueroa is working away from the top position though. Figueroa lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Figueroa seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Bridge trying to control here.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Figueroa connects with a nice short shot to Bridge's temple. Figueroa lands strikes from half guard. Bridge tries to get to full guard but Figueroa has control of the leg. Figueroa looks to land a strike but Bridge avoids it nicely and regains full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Figueroa distracts Bridge with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Figueroa postures up.
#T2# Figueroa is working Bridge over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Figueroa lands a couple of elbows. Figueroa works over Bridge with some ground and pound from guard. Figueroa would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Figueroa makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.#ROC# Bridge is rocked! Figueroa stands up over Bridge, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Bridge is still in real trouble! Can Figueroa finish him? The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Bridge wants to stand and escape but Figueroa is having none of it. Bridge tries to land a sweep but no joy. Bridge seems to have recovered his senses. Bridge lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.#REVB# Bridge preventing the sweep. Bridge being controlled here momentarily. #T3# Figueroa manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Bridge manages to get himself to full guard.
#REVR# Figueroa throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Bridge works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Figueroa is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Figueroa landing some decent shots from guard. Figueroa works over Bridge with some ground and pound from guard. Figueroa is working Bridge over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Figueroa lands a couple of digs. Figueroa has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Bridge looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Bridge looks winded! Gilberto Figueroa dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. #R2# Bridge throws a head kick that misses #CL# and Figueroa moves into the clinch. Figueroa has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Bridge is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Bridge gets underhooks to prevent Figueroa's takedown attempt.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gilberto Figueroa. That's going to take a lot out of him. Figueroa tries to land a knee to the head but Bridge blocks with his arms.
#BC2# Bridge breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. #TD2# Bridge throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Figueroa was covering up waiting for the punch and Bridge finishes the takedown easily into guard. Figueroa looking to hit a scissor sweep but Bridge is one step ahead there. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Figueroa is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.#T1# Bridge trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Bridge is looking to take a break and control but Figueroa is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Bridge wants to stand but his hand is trapped. Bridge must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.#T2# The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Figueroa seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Figueroa looking for a sweep. Not yet Figueroa, not yet. As Bridge tries to get set, Figueroa tries to push him back and clinch up but Bridge manages to avoid the attempt. Bridge slaps away a takedown attempt from Figueroa, before circling back to the center of the mat. Bridge misses with a body kick. Figueroa tries to counter by clinching up but Bridge breaks away and moves out of range.#TD2# Figueroa gets caught napping as Bridge dives in and scores a takedown. Figueroa manages to retain guard. Figueroa keeping moving, preventing Bridge from controlling successfully. Figueroa looking for a sweep. Not yet Figueroa, not yet. Figueroa controls Bridge momentarily but Bridge frees himself. #T4# Figueroa utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Bridge accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Bridge is looking to pass into half guard but Figueroa pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Figueroa is in guard.#REVR# Bridge is trying to keep Figueroa in close.
Figueroa lands a couple of elbows.#SU# Figueroa decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. #TD2# Bridge shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Figueroa napping and manages to drive through into side control! Bridge is breathing heavily. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Figueroa is trying to improve his position. Figueroa is in a bad spot here and he knows it... just holding on for now. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Daniel Bridge showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round! #R3##TD2# Bridge shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Bridge was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Figueroa looks to move to half guard but instead Bridge has passed into mount! Damn! Figueroa is trying to escape the mount.

Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Figueroa's head. #SUB2# Bridge seems to be trying to get a kimura but instead Figueroa has recovered full guard. Figueroa tries to land a sweep but no joy. #T2# Bridge slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Gilberto Figueroa overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Figueroa keeping full guard, as Bridge tries to pass. Figueroa seems keen to control Bridge's posture. Figueroa wants to sweep here but Bridge controlling him for the moment. #T3# Bridge wants to get up but he can't break Figueroa's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. #REF3# The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Figueroa uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Bridge.

Sloppy strikes there by Bridge. The strikes coming from Bridge are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Figueroa holds on to Bridge's head and controls the position momentarily. Figueroa is looking to reverse the position. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Figueroa gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Bridge misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
And that's the end of the fight! Daniel Bridge comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Bridge has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
