Stone fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Grill has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Grill's corner calls for a 1-2. Grill obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Stone closes this distance looking for a takedown but Grill circles away.
Bob Grill has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Joe Stone.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Grill circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Jocavich to the canvas! Jocavich doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Grill keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!

Bob Grill really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Shinobi logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
Vladamir Jocavich spoke after the fight, saying 'I am sad I lost but I will win my next one'.

Vachon with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Grill to score with a decent uppercut.
Grill throws a lazy right hand but Vachon sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Grill connects with a nice looking jab.
Vachon tries to clinch up but Grill circles away and keeps his distance.

In his post fight interview, Maurice Vachon started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.

Rodriguez doesn't manage to clinch there - Grill circles away.
Grill leaves Rodriguez with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Nice straight punches there by Grill. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Grill.
