Silfa drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Aki throws an overhand right that lands on Silfa's shoulder, as Silfa tries to avoid the shot. Silfa has his takedown stuffed enabling Aki to counter with a crisp jab. #CUT2# Anderson Silfa's cut is getting worse. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Aki lands with a right hand. Silfa shoots in for a takedown but Aki shows good takedown defense. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Anderson Silfa. That's going to take a lot out of him. Silfa is breathing heavily. Aki works over Silfa's head and body with a nice combination. Our sources have told us that Yoshimura has been working on his elbows in the gym. Yoshimura unloads a knee to the mid-section. Silfa lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. Yoshimura using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.
Silfa looks winded! Yoshimura lands a nice elbow from the clinch. Silfa working aggressively here.

#R1##TD2# Kasper drives through with a takedown into guard. #SUB2# Kasper drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Kasper jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Kasper lands a couple of elbows. Kasper sitting in guard here, content to control. Kasper looks winded! Kasper's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. It looks like Kasper might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kasper is continuing to stall.#T1# Silfa is trying to control the position but Kasper postures up. #REF3# The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.#TD2# Silfa tries to sprawl but Kasper drives through with a takedown into half guard. The adventures of Kasper the control monster continue. Boring. Silfa is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Kasper's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Kasper's back! Kasper can't escape the position.

Kasper knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Kasper for a finish. I really don't envy Kasper right now.

Silfa is trying to stick to Kasper's back but Kasper is turning into Silfa. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Silfa's guard. #R1# Silfa shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Aki sprawls well. Aki wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Silfa gets slowly back to his feet. Aki lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Silfa backs up against the cage.
#CUT2# It looks like Anderson Silfa has been cut. Aki tests Silfa's chin there with a solid looking shot. Silfa tries for a takedown but Aki circles away easily and Aki counters with a lovely straight right hand! We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Good standup being displayed there by Aki as he connects with a hook. Nice straight punches there by Aki. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Aki. Aki moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Silfa is breathing heavily. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Aki connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. #T1# Silfa closes this distance looking for a takedown but Aki circles away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Anderson Silfa. That's going to take a lot out of him. Aki lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Silfa tries for a takedown but Aki circles away easily letting Aki counter with a right hand. Aki cracks Silfa with a right hand to the side of the head. A jab from Aki finds it's way through Silfa's defenses. Silfa shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Aki defends it nicely. It seemed like Aki was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Silfa is defended easily by Aki. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Anderson Silfa. That's going to take a lot out of him. Silfa tries to clinch up but Aki pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Silfa to the mat! Silfa covers up and Aki unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

Silfa tries to counter with a takedown but Reggae is quick to defend against it. Reggae punishes Silfa's body with a nice straight punch. Reggae keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Reggae feints a jab promting Silfa to slip. Reggae then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Silfa slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.#CUT2# It looks like Anderson Silfa has been cut. Reggae lands a two punch combo.

He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Silfa has hold of Stolec's hands but Stolec slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Stolec seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Stolec scores with a couple of good hammerfists. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Stolec looks towards his corner to check for any instructions.
