Holmes tries to keep at a distance but Wiliams has taken the fight into the clinch.
Wiliams drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Holmes gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Holmes is fighting off a takedown attempt but Wiliams is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Holmes to the mat. Holmes regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Holmes wants to get back to his feet but Wiliams is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Holmes is trying to hold Wiliams in close to prevent damage but Wiliams has managed to pass into half guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Wiliams is looking to advance position but Holmes won't allow it.

Wiliams darts in trying to clinch
and Holmes counters with a nice uppercut.
Holmes keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Holmes dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
BOOM! Holmes lands a beautiful left hook that drops Wiliams. Wiliams tries to recover but Holmes is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Wiliams lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
