Haffie darts in looking for a takedown but Luuk gets double underhooks and turns Haffie into the cage.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Haffie has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Sem Luuk seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A punch lands to the side of Haffie 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Haffie slips under a jab from Luuk.
Luuk is breathing heavily.
Haffie tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Luuk defends well and Haffie ends up having to push Luuk into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Luuk does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Haffie shoots for a double leg takedown but Luuk sprawls well. He's pushed Haffie's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Haffie can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Luuk is looking to escape.
