#R1##CL# Conor instigates a clinch. Conor throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Khanidovs head. #TD2# Khanidov gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. #ES# Conor manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Khanidov will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.#CL# Conor closes the distance and clinches. #TD2# Khanidov turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Khanidov manages to end up in side control. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Conor is trying to improve his position. Conor knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Khanidov on the ground. Khanidov working the head with strikes. Khanidov lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Khanidov cracks Conor with a big right hand but Conor just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Conor is trying to control Khanidov's posture but Khanidov avoids it. Conor takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Khanidov works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.#T1# Conor is trying to get back to half guard. Khanidov lands a strong strike to the head of Conor. That's dazed him! Khanidov looking to finish here. Conor is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Khanidov lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
