Snipes has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Complete avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.#TD2# Complete has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Snipes regains guard immediately. Complete cracks Snipes with a solid left hand. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Snipes is on top in guard.
#REVR# Complete keeping moving, preventing Snipes from controlling successfully. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Snipes preventing the sweep. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Complete controlling Snipes's posture. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Snipes accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. #T1##ES2# The fighters are working up against the cage. Complete manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage. Snipes is looking for a takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Wade Snipes. That's going to take a lot out of him.#TD2# Complete has Snipes pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Complete pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Snipes tumbling to the mat - Complete dives into Snipes's guard. Snipes is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Snipes looking to sweep here. No luck so far. #SUB# Snipes escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Complete gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Complete working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Snipes's head.#T2# Complete is in close to Snipes's body, working some short punches and elbows. Complete connects with a couple of short punches. Complete postures up.
Complete sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Snipes's guard. In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Complete working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well. Snipes on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Complete perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Complete is keen to just control but Snipes is a slippery customer. Snipes throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Complete passes the guard and advances to mount! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Snipes tries to get back to half guard but can't. #T3# BOOM! Complete connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Complete lands a nice shot to the head. #ROC2# Snipes is rocked! Complete lands a big elbow - Snipes is in trouble! More strikes from the mount and Snipes is forced to tap out!

#R1# Colt connects with a good right hand that stumbles Snipes. Snipes circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Colt throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Snipes on the side of the head. Colt jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
A swing and a miss from Colt.#TD# Snipes looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Colt! Colt is looking to get back to his feet here but Snipes is keeping cool and he's managed to take Colt's back. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Colt trying to get back to his feet but Snipes is in full control for now. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Colt rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
#SUB# Colt is defending against the submission attempts here by Snipes.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Snipes missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. #T1##SUB# Snipes is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Colt doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Snipes. Snipes throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Snipes thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Colt's head. #SUB# Snipes wants to work for an arm triangle but Colt is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Snipes is just content to waste time from the top position. Colt takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. #T3# Colt is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Snipes trying to control but Colt is working from the bottom. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Colt is on top in guard.
#REVB# Colt is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. #T4# A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Snipes controls Colt momentarily but Colt frees himself. Snipes wants to sweep here but Colt controlling him for the moment. Colt stays in close to Snipes's body and controls the position. #REF3# The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Colt jabs Snipes right on the nose. Snipes blinks but takes it well. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! The fighters circling - Colt throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Snipes seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. Colt scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Snipes doesn't seem bothered though. Colt fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Colt lands a really nice looking cross but Snipes seems unphased.

Colt has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Colt swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Snipes slips under a jab from Colt. Snipes tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Colt manages to circle out of the way. Colt misses with a jab, cross combination.
Snipes closes the distance and clinches up with Colt, looking for a takedown. Snipes pushes Colt against the cage but Colt circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Snipes darts in looking for a takedown but Colt gets double underhooks and turns Snipes into the cage. #T2##TD2# Colt shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Snipes's guard. Colt slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. #SUB# Snipes is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Colt is aware though and is defending well. Snipes looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Colt is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Snipes has Colt pulled in close to control his posture. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Colt sitting in guard here, content to control. #REF3# The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Colt gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. A cross from Colt lands. Snipes gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Snipes tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Colt is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Snipes buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Snipes!! Snipes is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Colt throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.

Hawk scores with a knee to the head.
Hawk lands a good knee to the midsection. Snipes won't want to take too many of those. Snipes tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Hawk just stands there and leans against the cage. Snipes jumps guard but Hawk stands there with Snipes around his waist. Snipes gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Wade Snipes. That's going to take a lot out of him. Snipes tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Hawk receives a warning from the referee for stalling. Hawk has Snipes pressed up against the cage in a tight Thai clinch. Snipes is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from Hawk - that's hurt Snipes badly! Oh, another knee lands and Snipes is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Snipes doesn't seem to be complaining.

#R1##TD2# Snipes bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Santana throwing some weak shots from the bottom that do no damage.
#SUB2# Snipes is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Santana is trying to escape and Snipes transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Santana is forced to tap! Nice work there by Snipes! Very nice indeed!

#R1# Snipes moves in looking to clinch but Leatherton pushes him off. Snipes shoots for a double leg takedown but Leatherton sprawls well. He's pushed Snipes's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Leatherton looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Leatherton stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Leatherton wants it to stay on the feet. Leatherton wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.#TD2# Snipes gets a takedown into half guard. Snipes sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Leatherton defending well though. Snipes not doing much here.
Leatherton might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. #R1##TD2# Snipes gets a double leg takedown into Lopes's guard. Snipes not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Snipes stands and throws Lopes's legs to the side, diving into side control. #SUB2# Snipes has hold of Lopes's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Lopes seems comfortable defending it but Snipes has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Lopes is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Lopes is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Snipes couldn't care less - he's delighted!
