This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Rines might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Rines leaves Hovac with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Hovac tries for a takedown but Rines sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Samuel Hovac. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Rines circles away from the clinch attempt.
Hovac shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Rines as he jumps to the side. #CL#
