#R1# Muntz jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
#TD2# Masters manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Muntz on his heels. He'll look to pass Muntz's guard now, I'm sure. Masters sitting in guard here, content to control. Masters is looking to pass into half guard but Muntz pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Muntz is in guard.#REVR# Masters bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Muntz's guard. #REVB# Masters controls from within his opponent's guard. Let's hope that Masters has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.#T1# Masters working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Masters pushing down on Muntz's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Muntz pushes Masters off but Masters dives into side control.
Masters takes a little break here. Muntz wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Sloppy strikes there by Masters. Masters moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. #T2# The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.#SUB2# Masters tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Masters has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The strikes coming from Masters are missing the target in this wave of attacks. You can see the frustration on Muntz's face as Masters controls the position. Muntz taking a bit of punishment here - Masters scoring with strikes. #SUB2# Masters in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Muntz is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Tommy Masters!
