Horrible takedown attempt by Machado or perhaps it was just good defense by Powers, which made it look bad.
Powers now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Machado throws a low kick but Powers avoids it.
Powers misses with a double jab.
Machado moves in looking to clinch but Powers pushes him off.
Luis Machado seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Powers connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Machado uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Powers.
Machado needs to keep his hands up - Powers had a free shot at his head there.
