#R1# Malkova fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. A looping hook to the body misses from Powers. Malkova does a little dance to reset his feet. Powers misses with a body punch
and Malkova counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Powers looks to score with a jab to the body but Malkova is just out of range. Adrian Powers seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A swing and a miss from Powers. A jab from Malkova finds it's way through Powers's defenses. Malkova lands a jab-cross combination. Powers throws a predictable looking body shot
and Malkova counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.#ROC# Powers is rocked! A shot to the body from Powers misses #CL# and Malkova counters by clinching up. Powers is still on wobbly legs! Can Malkova finish him? This has been an exciting period of action! Malkova lands a shot to the body. Powers looks winded! Malkova lands a big right hand that drops Powers! The killer instinct kicks in and Malkova finishes his opponent with a series of strikes from mount. A dominating finish by Malkova!

#R1# Powers thuds his right hand into Machado's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Horrible takedown attempt by Machado or perhaps it was just good defense by Powers, which made it look bad. Powers now looks to counter with a shot at the body. Machado throws a low kick but Powers avoids it. Powers misses with a double jab.
Machado moves in looking to clinch but Powers pushes him off. Luis Machado seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Powers connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Machado uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Powers.
Machado needs to keep his hands up - Powers had a free shot at his head there. Powers scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Machado fails in his attempt to clinch. Powers tries to bum rush Machado with a series of wild strikes but Machado uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Powers misses with a body punch
and Machado counters with a nice uppercut. Machado tries to clinch up. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.#CL# Powers tries to keep at a distance but Machado has taken the fight into the clinch. Powers doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
A frustrated look appears on Powers's face as he tries to break the clinch. Powers goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
#T1# Powers has had enough of the clinch but Machado keeps him there for the moment. Powers is trying to push Machado away but Machado has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.#TD# Machado pulls Powers into guard.
#SUB# Machado has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Powers doesn't defend quickly enough and Machado has managed to lock this one up! Can Powers escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Machado on a fantastic submission victory.
