Cage dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. Cage tries to stand and escape but Dyer is controlling the position. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Cage landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Cage passes to side control. Cage is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Cage has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#T1# Dyer is looking to reverse the position.
