#R1# Diaz looks to clinch and Hewitt counters with a series of strikes. Diaz will be more careful next time no doubt. Diaz tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Hewitt manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Diaz drops his hands momentarily and Hewitt takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Diaz takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Hewitt scores with a head kick. Diaz tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time. Diaz tries to clinch but Hewitt moves out of range. A punch combination from Diaz misses. Hewitt tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Diaz manages to circle out of the way. Diaz's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Diaz duly obliges. #CUT2# It looks like Ronny Hewitt has been cut. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Diaz swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Hewitt has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening.
