Good shot there by Gonzalez. Tevez is trying hard to land a takedown here. Gonzalez sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Gonzalez throwing a counter right hand but Tevez manages to avoid it. Good standup being displayed there by Tevez as he connects with a hook. Tevez walks into a jab. Gonzalez paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Nunes throwing strikes but missing. Nunes looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Nunes with a flurry of punches that miss. Gonzalez working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Nunes. #SUB# Gonzalez is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Nunes is aware though and is defending well. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nunes looking to pass the guard. #TD2# Aldo tightens his grip and picks Gonzalez up, before dumping him to the ground. Gonzalez manages to land in guard. Gonzalez trying to keep a closed guard but Aldo is proving a slippery customer.
#SUB# Aldo wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Gonzalez's closed guard. He's half up but Gonzalez has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Gonzalez pivots and extends the arm, Aldo falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Gonzalez! Well done that man!
