#R1# Maglio doesn't succeed with the takedown#TD2# and Tanko counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Tanko is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Maglio looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Maglio is trying to control the position but Tanko postures up. Maglio is looking to stand up but Tanko isn't so interested in that idea. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Maglio is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Maglio being controlled here, momentarily. Tanko sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Maglio's guard. #T1# The referee calls for the fighters to work.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Tanko is pressing down on Maglio's thigh, looking to free his foot. Maglio is holding on for now. Tanko sitting and controlling from the half guard. #REF3# The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.#TD2# Tanko looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Maglio is trying to keep Tanko in close.
#T2# Tanko passes easily into side control. Nice work. Maglio on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Maglio tries to get out of the position.#SUB2# Tanko wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Maglio, who protects the arm well. Tanko just content to control the position. Tanko moves into full mount! #T3# Tanko sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Tanko fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Maglio knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Tanko on the ground. Tanko controlling the position easily from mount. #T4# Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.#SUB2# Tanko has hold of Maglio's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Maglio manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Tanko lands a big shot there that rocks Maglio but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Luis Tanko dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. #R2# Maglio lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Tanko shoots in for a double leg but Maglio sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Tanko stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Tanko wants it to stay on the feet. Maglio throws a lazy head kick #TD2# and Tanko counters with a shoot takedown. Maglio fights it but they end up in guard. Tanko is standing up over Maglio. Maglio looks to escape but Tanko dives into side control.
#REVR# Maglio struggling a bit here. Tanko works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Maglio on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Luis Tanko has got the better of the ground game so far. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.#SUB2# Tanko wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Maglio, who protects the arm well. This has been an exciting period of action! Tanko working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
#T1# Tanko slows the pace down. Tanko cracks Maglio with a big elbow. Tanko remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. #T2# Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Let's hope that Tanko has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Tanko landing a few strikes. Tanko controlling the position from side mount. Tanko lands a few punches from side control.#T3# Tanko moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. #SUB2# Tanko tries for a kimura but Maglio is defending well. Maglio is trying to control Tanko's posture but Tanko avoids it. Maglio takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.#T4# The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Tanko controlling the position. Tanko lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Tanko connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Maglio some visible discomfort.
#SUB2# Tanko is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Maglio has escaped the position, nice work there. Tanko passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Maglio! The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Tanko tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Luis Tanko showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Maglio's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round! #R3# Maglio shoots in for a double leg but Tanko sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.#TD2# Tanko closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Maglio to the mat! Maglio manages to get full guard. Tanko working some strikes from top position. Maglio can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Tanko controls the pace. Tanko lands a couple of elbows. Tanko is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Tanko has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tanko stands and throws Maglio's legs to the side, diving into side control. Both fighters are breathing heavily.#T1# Tanko advances nicely into full mount. Tanko is landing with some decent strikes but Maglio is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Tanko controlling the pace for now. Tanko lands a couple of good shots and Maglio has given up his back, trying to escape the position!#SUB2# Tanko sinks in the hooks and is looking for the choke. He's got it! Maglio taps out!

#R1# Maglio tries to score a power double leg takedown but Filter sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Maglio somewhat. Maglio moves in looking to clinch but Filter pushes him off. Filter avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Filter connects with a nice looking jab.
#CUT# It looks like Giorgio Maglio has been cut. Maglio fails with an attempt to clinch.
Filter stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Filter wants it to stay on the feet. As Maglio looks to move away, Filter throws a big counter combo but Maglio just gets out of the way. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Some wild striking there from Filter.
A little jabbing left from Maglio on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Maglio wants to clinch but Filter slips to the side and Filter counters with a three punch combo that has Maglio backing up. Maglio nods at Filter to acknowledge the strikes.#ROC# Maglio is rocked!#T1# Maglio fails in his attempt to clinch. Maglio is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Maglio throws a lazy head kick #TD# and Filter decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Maglio's guard.#ES2# Maglio has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Filter is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.#BC2# Maglio breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Filter throws a right and a left that both miss. Maglio tries to counter with a clinch but Filter shakes him off and moves away. Filter scores with a one two! Maglio had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Maglio has his takedown stuffed and Filter counters with a three punch combo that has Maglio backing up. Maglio nods at Filter to acknowledge the strikes. Maglio is still on wobbly legs! Can Filter finish him? Huck Filter has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Giorgio Maglio. Filter steps in with a hook that catches Maglio right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Filter follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Maglio looks absolutely devastated.

#R1# Maglio blocks a head kick by Prime Time.
Maglio shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Prime Time shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Maglio but Maglio pushes him off and we're back to square one. A head kick misses from Prime Time. Prime Time tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Prime Time keeps the fight on the outside.#TD2# Maglio shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Prime Time wants to stand back up but Maglio manages to pass into side control.
#SUB2# Maglio has hold of Prime Time's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Prime Time seems comfortable defending it but Maglio has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Prime Time is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Prime Time is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Maglio couldn't care less - he's delighted!
