#R1# Lee lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Lefebvre backs up against the cage.
Lefebvre throws a body shot but no joy. Lefebvre shoots for a double leg takedown but Lee sprawls well. He's pushed Lefebvre's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Lee fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Lefebvre misses with a low kick.
#TD# Lefebvre changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Lee looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Lee is trying to get back to half guard. Lefebvre slows the pace down. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lefebvre landing strikes. Lee really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lefebvre. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Lee wants to get back to his feet but Lefebvre drags him back down. Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Bayard Lefebvre! Bayard Lefebvre spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
