No luck for Embamba with that takedown attempt. Embamba with a hook.#TD2# Embamba is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Kauri's half guard. Embamba with the ground and pound but Kauri uses the opportunity to regain guard. #SUB2# Embamba drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Kauri manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Embamba has Kauri in his guard.#REVR# Kauri is pushing down on Embamba's leg trying to pass to half guard. Embamba is fighting to maintain full guard but Kauri has managed to sneak the leg through. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Kauri moves nicely into side control. #SUB# Kauri is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Embamba knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Razzers's corner calls for a 1-2. Razzers obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Razzers moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. A shot to the liver by Razzers. Beautiful body shot. Decent striking displayed by Razzers there. Embamba takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Razzers's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Razzers duly obliges. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Razzers slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.#ROC# Embamba is rocked! Razzers scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Embamba fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.#T1# Razzers takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Embamba misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Bartholomew Razzers has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of James Embamba. Boom, another hit is landed. Embamba is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the ropes enables Razzers to keep the fight standing. With the fighters clinched against the ropes, Razzers creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Razzers is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Embamba is keeping busy. Razzers can't find room to land a body shot as Embamba controls the action.
I was talking to Razzers's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. A short uppercut from Razzers. Razzers lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Razzers is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. A short uppercut from Razzers. #T2# Razzers scores with a hook to the body. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Razzers gets through Embamba's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Razzers softening up his opponent with strikes, against the ropes. Embamba jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Razzers walks away with a smile on his face. Embamba gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Razzers thuds a left hand into Embamba's body. Embamba looks winded! A decent looking cross lands there for Razzers. Embamba is still on wobbly legs! Can Razzers finish him? Embamba moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Razzers digs a good hook to Embamba's body.
Razzers connects with a jab. Razzers cracks Embamba on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Embamba falls backwards against the ropes. Razzers follows up with more strikes that drop Embamba to his knees. Razzers keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Embamba! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bartholomew Razzers! Bartholomew Razzers tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.

Axe lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Axe throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Embambas head. Axe lands a shoulder strike. A right handed body shot lands from Axe.
Embamba jumps guard but Axe stands there with Embamba around his waist. Embamba gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Axe prevents Embamba from breaking the clinch. A quick uppercut on the inside from Axe. Embamba tries to circle away but Axe has him pinned against the ropes. Embamba is working for takedown but Axe is calmly controlling the position for now. Axe lands a right hand that snaps the head of Embamba backwards. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Axe prevents the takedown attempt.

Embamba covers up and Axe unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

Destro is looking to stand up but Embamba won't let him. Embamba looking to control.
Destro has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Embamba is proving hard to escape from. #SUB# Destro wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Embamba's closed guard. He's half up but Embamba has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Embamba pivots and extends the arm, Destro falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Embamba! Well done that man!

#R1# Embamba tries for a takedown but Fitzpatrick circles away easily and Fitzpatrick counters with a stiff right hand. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Fitzpatrick, as that shot connected.
Fitzpatrick lands with a hook. Embamba tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Fitzpatrick scores with a nice head shot. Fitzpatrick looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Embamba fails with the takedown. Fitzpatrick throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Embamba throws a left and a right that both miss
and Fitzpatrick counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Fitzpatrick thuds his right hand into Embamba's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.#KD2# Oooooh!!! Fitzpatrick has knocked Embamba down with a huge combo! Fitzpatrick steps away and waves a wobbly Embamba back to his feet! Timbrook trying to control from half guard but Embamba is working away. Well, if Timbrook is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Timbrook wants to stand but Embamba has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Timbrook missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Embamba keeping control of the position. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.#T1# Timbrook has decided to stand back up but his arm is trapped. Whilst he's worrying about his arm, Embamba works to full guard. Wappner tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Embamba defends well and Wappner ends up having to push Embamba into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Embamba steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Wappner.#CL# Wappner clinches. Embamba tries for a takedown. No joy.

Embamba wants to sweep here but Navarro controlling him for the moment. Navarro scoring with some ground and pound. Embamba is trying to control the position but Navarro postures up. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Embamba working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Navarro. Navarro seems to have come into the fight with the intention of avoiding any damage in the clinch, rather than actually showing any aggression. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Embamba displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Navarro. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Clifton Navarro. That's going to take a lot out of him.
