#R1##TD2# Sullivan shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Marcelo is trying to defend but Sullivan finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Marcelo taking some punishment here, with Sullivan in his half guard. #SUB2# Sullivan is working for a submission of some sort.

Sullivan wants to lay and pray for a moment but Marcelo keeps working. #R1# Marcelo tries to clinch but Ward moves out of range. Max Ward seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Marcelo throws a solid leg kick but Ward takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Marcelo.#TD# Ward looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Marcelo pushes Ward off but Ward dives into side control.
Marcelo takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. You can see the frustration on Marcelo's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Ward is putting a hurting on Marcelo here, landing some big shots from side control. Check out the look on Ward's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Marcelo tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Ward presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount! Marcelo is bucking up trying to escape but Ward cracks him with another couple of good strikes. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! A nice elbow there by Ward. Marcelo is trying desperately to improve position.#T1# Ward cracks Marcelo with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!

#R1##CL2# Marcelo moves into the clinch. Lee is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Lee blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.#BC# Lee manages to break the clinch.

#TD2# Marcelo decides to pull guard. Lee stays in close to Marcelo's body and controls the position. #SUB2# Marcelo had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Lee defends it easily.#SUB2# Marcelo has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Lee can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lee not doing much here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Marcelo felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.#SUB# Lee is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. #T2# Lee is looking to advance position but Marcelo won't allow it. Lee works his foot free and advances to mount. #SUB# Lee swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!
