#R1# McGlynn shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Lefebvre but Lefebvre pushes him off and we're back to square one. Lefebvre half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.#TD# Lefebvre closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Lefebvre lands in his opponent's guard. Lefebvre landing some decent shots from guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. McGlynn tries to strike from the bottom.
Lefebvre is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Lefebvre lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.#ROC# McGlynn is rocked! McGlynn thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. McGlynn is still in real trouble! Can Lefebvre finish him? Lefebvre postures up, still in guard. A huge hammer fist lands that bounces McGlynn's head off the mat! McGlynn is out! He's out! Lefebvre jumps to his feet and celebrates with his corner!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Bayard Lefebvre! A less than humble Bayard Lefebvre misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
