Bronson's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Bronson wants to pass the guard but Ellis is keeping the position. Bronson missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bronson has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Ellis is proving hard to escape from. Ellis manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Bronson manages to get himself to full guard.

Miguel throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Ellis really is a fat lump. Miguel lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Ellis crumples to the floor! Miguel milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Juan Miguel! A relieved looking Juan Miguel thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.

King wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Ellis gets slowly back to his feet.#TD2# King dives in and scores a takedown into Ellis's guard. Ellis is looking to stand back up but King counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Ellis. #REVR# The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.#SUB2# King is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
