Charnstrom keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Krupin misses with a takedown and Charnstrom counters with a stiff right hand. Grister Charnstrom has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Fedor Krupin. Krupin shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Charnstrom defends it nicely. Krupin misses with a takedown and Charnstrom counters with a left to the body. Charnstrom scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Krupin doesn't seem bothered though. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Krupin tries to clinch there but Charnstrom circles away.

He has the arm isolated but Charnstrom is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. You can see the frustration on Charnstrom's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Krupin trying to control the position but Charnstrom is working away. Charnstrom tries to buck Krupin off but Krupin is having none of it. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Krupin shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Charnstrom as he jumps to the side. Charnstrom lands the left hand. Charnstrom is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Krupin can do to turn this around? We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Charnstrom throws a nice outside leg kick. Nice uppercut lands for Charnstrom. That snapped Krupin's head back.

Charnstrom closes the distance and lands a one-two. Krupin has his takedown stuffed and Charnstrom counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Charnstrom jabs at Krupin's body. Charnstrom looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.

Krupin takes a shot right to the bread basket. Charnstrom bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Krupin's head backwards. Krupin should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Krupin tries for a takedown but Charnstrom circles away easily and Charnstrom counters with a lovely straight right hand! A decent looking cross lands there for Charnstrom. Charnstrom is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. Krupin takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Nice cross by Charnstrom. Charnstrom thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Krupin if he has to take too many more of those.
Krupin tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Charnstrom manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Charnstrom feinted there with a counter leg kick. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Charnstrom scores with a jab. Charnstrom stalks Krupin and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Krupin's face. Krupin staggers backwards, shaken. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Charnstrom manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Charnstrom appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body. Charnstrom smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Charnstrom scores with a crisp jab that stopped Krupin in his tracks. Charnstrom fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Krupin on the side of the head. Charnstrom dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Fedor Krupin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Nice body punch from Charnstrom. Krupin has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Charnstrom lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Krupin is looking to pass into half guard but Hodges pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Hodges is in guard.#REVR##SUB2# Krupin has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Hodges can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Hodges preventing the sweep. Krupin seems keen to control Hodges's posture. Krupin is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top.
