#R1# Bear takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Gates shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Bear pinned against the cage. Bear gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Bear tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Gates closes the distance but Bear moves to the side #TD2# and Bear counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Still in half guard, Bear seems content to control. Gates on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Gates tries to kick Bear off but Bear keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bear wants to pass the guard but Gates is defending well. Bear content to control rather than advance. Bear seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. #T1# Gates is trying to get back to full guard. Gates knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Bear on the ground. Bear controlling the action here. Gates keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Gates taking some punishment here, with Bear in his half guard. #T2# The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Bear uses his free foot to push down on Gates's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Gates. Bear trying to control but he's not successful this time. Bear connects with a couple of good shots from mount.

This isn't 1993 though, so Gates shrugs it off. #T4# Bear looking to finish Gates with some ground and pound. This is bad for Gates! Gates is looking to get to half guard. Bear lands a big elbow. Bear lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Gates hang on? Bear raining down hammerfists from mount. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Bear wants to control from the top but Gates keeps moving. Bear is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... It's a bit of a token attempt though and Gates regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Jogi Bear showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round! #R3# A head kick by Gates misses #TD2# and Bear counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Bear. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Gates tries to get out of the position. Bear with shots to the head and body - Gates looks very uncomfortable down there. #T4# Bear cracks Gates with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Gates takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Bear with a couple of short strikes. Bear has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Bear controlling his opponent. Bear punishing his opponent with strikes. Bear with shots to the head and body - Gates looks very uncomfortable down there. Bear controlling from the full mount. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Bear cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Gabriel Gates has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Jogi Bear is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Bear is landing with some decent strikes but Gates is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
And that's the end of the fight! Jogi Bear comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Bear winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

#R1##TD2# Bear looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Bear is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Chaney is trying to keep Bear in close.
Bear with a nice head shot there. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bear slips nicely into half guard. Chaney trying to control but Bear postures up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bear working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Bear trying to control the pace. Chaney is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. #T1# Bear lands with a punch from half guard. Bear takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Chaney tries to get to full guard but Bear has control of the leg. Chaney really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Chaney is staying active underneath Bear, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Bear wants to free his trapped foot but Chaney is holding on for dear life with his legs. Chaney tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. #T2# Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. The referee calls for the fighters to work.

#REVR# Bear pulls Chaney in close to prevent any damage. Bear working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Chaney. #T3# Bear wants to sweep but no luck. Bear avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. #SUB2# Bear looking for a guillotine here but Chaney defends easily.
#REF3# The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.#TD2# Bear scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.#T4# Chaney tries to control but end up mounted... ooooh, that's bad. Bear has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Chaney's face.

Nope, Bear circles away and we're back to standing.#TD2# Bear gets the takedown into side control. Suarez is trying to get back to half guard. Suarez takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Bear is trying to ground and pound but Suarez uses the momentary lack of control by Bear to regain half guard. Suarez is trying to control but can't.
Suarez really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
