#R1# Geovani throws a sloppy head kick #TD# and Suarez counters with a nice double leg into side control. Geovani won't be happy with that. Geovani is letting Suarez control him for a moment. #SUB# Suarez tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Geovani tries to escape but Suarez is in control. Suarez slows the pace down. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Suarez prevents Geovani from escaping the position.#SU# Suarez stands up and beckons Geovani to his feet. Geovani avoids the head kick by Suarez.

#TD# Suarez looking to score a takedown here. Geovani is defending well but Suarez drives through and ends up in Geovani's guard. Suarez prevents Geovani from getting back to his feet. We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Geovani has eaten all the pies! Suarez lands a couple of elbows. Geovani is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Suarez dives into side control.
Suarez is staying tight to Geovani's torso, preventing him from escaping. Check out the look on Suarez's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!

#R1# A head kick misses from Suarez. A head kick by Carruthers misses #TD# and Suarez counters with a nice double leg into half guard. #SUB# Suarez is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Suarez with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Carruthers wants to get back to his feet.
#T1# Suarez not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Suarez controlling the action here. Suarez lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. #T2# The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Suarez scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Suarez is taking a breather. Carruthers says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Suarez is nestled in close to Carruthers, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Carruthers tries to kick Suarez off but Suarez keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Suarez landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. #T3# Suarez takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Suarez really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Suarez working the head and body with strikes. Suarez stalling. #REF3# The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Carruthers blocks a head kick by Suarez.

Suarez shoots in looking for a takedown but Carruthers manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Suarez's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Carruthers is looking to take this fight into the clinch.#T4# Carruthers pulls out of a head kick attempt.

#TD# and Suarez decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Carruthers's guard.#SUB# Suarez is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Suarez working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Carruthers can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Suarez controls the pace. Suarez postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Lyndon Suarez dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! #R2# Carruthers tries to clinch but Suarez is having none of it. Suarez lands a slapping body shot.

#TD# and Suarez counters with a single leg into guard. Carruthers didn't expect that. #SU# Suarez gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Suarez cracks the inside of Carruthers's front leg. Carruthers scores with a shot to the body.
Carruthers throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Carruthers tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Suarez paws at him with a jab and circles away.#TD# Suarez shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Carruthers wants to stand back up but Suarez manages to pass into side control.
Carruthers is breathing heavily.#T1##SUB# Suarez has hold of Carruthers's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Carruthers tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Suarez cranks the arm and Carruthers screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Carruthers, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

#R1# Suarez looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Bear is fending him off so far but Suarez persists. Nope, Bear circles away and we're back to standing.#TD2# Bear gets the takedown into side control. Suarez is trying to get back to half guard. Suarez takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Bear is trying to ground and pound but Suarez uses the momentary lack of control by Bear to regain half guard. Suarez is trying to control but can't.
Suarez really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Suarez is in trouble now - Bear has advanced to mount! Bear fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
