#R1# Webb lands a leg kick that knocks Palms off balance momentarily. Webb looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!#TD# Palms drives through with a takedown into Webb's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Palms engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Palms's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Palms seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Webb for as long as he can get away with. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Webb is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Webb wants to stand and escape but Palms is having none of it. Palms pushes down on Webb's leg and manages to get into half guard.#T1# Palms content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Palms frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Palms takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Palms is landing with some decent strikes but Webb is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Webb is trying to stand up. Palms controlling the pace for now. Palms has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Webb's face.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Palms lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Palms feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Webbs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Palms fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Webb on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Palms. Palms obviously looking to wear him down.
Palms is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Webb can do to turn this around? Webb keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Palms is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Webb will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Palms throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Webb lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. Palms scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Webb missing with a left hand there. Palms was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Oops... bit sloppy there by Webb. #T1##REVB# Heron Palms overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Palms is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Webb! Palms looking to control and managing it successfully. Palms lands a couple of good shots and Webb has given up his back, trying to escape the position!#T2# Palms controlling from the back. Heron Palms is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.#T3# Webb is trying to get back to his feet but Palms has full control of the position and if anything, Webb has just worked his way into a worse spot. Webb is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.
#SUB# Palms is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Webb with him. Webb is trying to defend but Palms has an arm under the chin now! Webb grimaces and is forced to tap out!

#R1# Souza rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Webb moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Webb comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Souza throws a nice looking combination but Webb bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Left hook, right uppercut from Webb. Webb misses with a body shot.
Webb has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Souza is landing a low percentage of strikes. Souza lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Webb circles away quickly and effectively. Nice sprawl there from Webb as Souza shoots in. Souza doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Souza feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Webbs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Webb jabs at Souza's body. This has been an exciting period of action! Danga de danga de dang - Webb scores with a four punch combination! Webb throws a right and a left that Souza avoids nicely. Webb looks winded! Souza on the wrong end of a nice jab. Webb throws an overhand right that lands on Souza's shoulder, as Souza tries to avoid the shot. Webb tries to bum rush Souza with a series of wild strikes but Souza uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Souza scores with a head kick.
Souza wobbles Webb with a right hand and the left hook that follows puts him on his rear! Souza dives in with a huge flying punch that connects right on the button and puts Webb to sleep! - What a violent and spectacular finish!

#R1# Hammer shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Webb sprawls well. Webb wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Hammer gets slowly back to his feet. Webb shoots for a takedown but Hammer saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Webb misses with a takedown attempt - Hammer sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Webb looks to land a left hand but Hammer moved out of range nicely. Sloppy strikes from Webb. Those never looked like landing. Hammer changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Webb shoots in but Hammer avoids the takedown attempt easily. Hammer wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch. Mini Hammer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dennis Webb. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Webb looks to clinch and Hammer finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.#CL2# Webb gets a clinch. Webb has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Hammer avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Webb is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Hammer is keeping busy.#BC# Hammer manages to break the clinch.
