#R1##TD2# Lopes fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Wooten sprawls well initially but Lopes persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Wooten tries to kick Lopes off in order to stand up. Lopes Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Wooten tries to improve position but can't. Lopes lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Wooten down.
Wooten tries to escape but Lopes is in control. Lopes creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Lopes moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. Lopes lands a nice forearm strike. #T1# Wooten gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Lopes landing punches. #ROC2# Wooten is rocked! Lopes takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Oh Wooten is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Lopes lands a big elbow - Wooten is in trouble! More strikes from the mount and Wooten is forced to tap out!
