#R1# Porter shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.#CL# Porter fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Ferre, pushing him back against the cage. Porter tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Ferre just stands there and leans against the cage. Porter is looking to take this one to the mat. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Efren Porter. That's going to take a lot out of him. Porter tries to pull guard but Ferre holds him up against the cage and eventually Porter drops back down to his feet.
#TD2# Ferre has clasped his hands together around Porter's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. Porter manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Ferre in particular looking to stall. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ferre thows a huge punch but Porter dodges it nicely.

The Door keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. The Door missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Porter could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. The Door takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. The Door missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. The Door controlling the pace. It looks like The Door might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. The Door has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#T1# The Door is continuing to stall. The Door chips away with some ground and pound. Porter stumbles backwards and tries to bounce back off the cage but Thurmond runs in and jumps on him with a leaping lead hook that puts him out! Wow, that was highlight reel stuff! Awesome finish!
