#R1# Sparings tries to clinch and Sparings takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Jones jabs at Sparings's body. Sparings takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Sparings tries to close the distance and clinch but Jones swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Ceturtais Sparings seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Sparings closes the distance and clinches up with Jones, looking for a takedown. Sparings pushes Jones against the cage but Jones circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Sparings slips under a jab from Jones. Jones misses with an uppercut. Sparings saw that one coming. Sparings wants to clinch and Jones makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Sparings goes for a double leg but Jones avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Jones continues to drive forward. Jab by Jones. Sparings fails with an attempt to clinch.
Sparings shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Jones defends it nicely. Jon Jones has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ceturtais Sparings. Sparings doesn't succeed with the takedown and Jones counters with a straight right hand. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Jones lands a right hook to the body.

Jones is fending him off so far but Sparings persists. Nope, Jones circles away and we're back to standing. Sparings tries to clinch up and Jones counters with a left and a right that stings Sparings. The fight stays on the outside here - Sparings looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Jones lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Sparings tries to close the distance and clinch but Jones swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. It looked like Jones wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Jones circles away from the clinch attempt.
Jones ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Jones lands a right hook to the body.
Sparings looks winded! Jones just misses with a punch to the body.
Jones avoids a punch combination nicely.
#T2# Jones connects with a good right hand that stumbles Sparings. Sparings circles away out of range and recomposes himself. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Sparings fails with an attempt to clinch.
Jones seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. Jon Jones is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Jones tests Sparings's chin there with a solid looking shot. Sparings tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Jones manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Sparings's coach down at WildBoar's Pig Pen (Strength and Conditioning) $40 was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Sparings's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Jones lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
#ROC# Sparings is rocked! Sparings closes the distance but Jones moves to the side and Jones counters with a huge left! Sparings is in big trouble! He's backing up but Jones isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Sparings from any more damage. A dominating finish by Jones!
