Best takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Ted Failon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Best's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Failon connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Best scrambles back to his feet. Best really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Best is looking to clinch but Failon is avoiding it.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Best gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Kurtwood tries to pull guard but Best forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Best looks to throw an elbow but misses. Gracie is trying to get back to half guard. Gracie wants to get back to his feet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gracie regains half guard. Best is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.#T1# Gracie is trying to maintain the position but Best is very close to passing his half guard.#SUB# Best looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
