Kelly throws a series of punches but Mitchell moves out of range. A clash of legs there as Kelly blocks the low kick. Kelly jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.

Mitchell thinks about countering with a body kick.#KD2# Oooooh!!! Kelly has knocked Mitchell down with a huge combo! Kelly steps away and waves a wobbly Mitchell back to his feet! The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Kelly looking to slow down the pace here. Castro scores with an uppercut up the middle. Castro lands a right hand. Kelly misses with a hook from the clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Castro lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Kelly backwards. Castro looks to throw an elbow but misses. Kelly is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Castro is keeping busy. Castro with an attempt at a knee that misses.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Castro punches the canvas rather than the man. Castro is working the ground and pound here and the referee is taking a close look at Kelly. He must escape soon or this one will be stopped. Castro slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.

Now he's in guard on top. #REVR##T2# The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Castro looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Castro preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Castro managing to control the position. Kelly throws an elbow that misses. Castro uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Kelly's guard. The referee asks Castro politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Castro prefers to stall for the moment though.#T4# Castro is continuing to stall. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Kelly. Kelly throws a series of punches but Castro avoids them all with ease. #TD2# Excellent takedown into side control there by Castro. Castro lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Kelly down.

Kelly on the wrong end of some ground and pound. #T4# There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Castro cracks Kelly with a big elbow. Castro looks up at the clock and then as Kelly takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Castro smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Castro trying to control the action but Kelly is working from the bottom. Muhammed Castro is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Castro in side control, just content to control the action for now. Castro lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.

Decent striking displayed by Magomadeov there. Kelly tries to clinch up and Magomadeov counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Magomadeov scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Derrick Kelly seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Magomadeov with a jab. Magomadeov slips a jab and a cross from Kelly.
A left and a right from Kelly both land. Nice combination. Magomadeov scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.#T1# Kelly walks into a stiff left hand from Magomadeov. Magomadeov's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Magomadeov duly obliges. and Magomadeov counters with a lovely straight right hand! Magomadeov connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Kelly momentarily.

Not much technique there but it did the business. Kelly throws a right hand that Magomadeov ducks under and follows up with a left that Magomadeov also avoids with ease. and Magomadeov cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Oh Kelly is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Magomadeov moves in close and cracks Kelly with a massive right hand! Kelly, frozen momentarily in time, tumbles to the canvas, already out cold! A brutal knockout by Magomadeov!

Heir fails to land the takedown. A chopping leg kick lands by Kelly. Kelly will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Danga de danga de dang - Kelly scores with a four punch combination! Kelly throws a nice outside leg kick. Heir misses with a wild combination.
Kelly throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
#T1# Heir has his takedown stuffed and Kelly connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Kelly lands with a straight right. Heir didn't see that one coming. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Kelly has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Heir shoots in and drives through. Kelly sprawls well. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jasdeep Heir. That's going to take a lot out of him. Heir darts in trying to clinch and Kelly counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Kelly shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Heir eats them both and turns towards Kelly to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Heir shoots in but Kelly avoids the takedown attempt easily. Kelly lands a nice hook to Heir's body. Heir takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Kelly scores with a head kick.

Oh Heir is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Heir darts in trying to clinch and Kelly counters with a series of strikes that practically lifts Heir off his feet! He tumbles backwards, his head bouncing off the mat - Kelly follows up with more strikes before the ref can step in but Heir was out before he hit the floor.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Derrick Kelly! Derrick Kelly spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.

Moore throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Moore working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Kelly's thigh. Kelly counters though and makes it back to full guard. Moore in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kelly loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Kelly accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Kelly is in close to Tyson's body, working some short punches and elbows.
