Silva fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Costa. Costa misses with a series of wild punches.
A head kick misses from Costa. #KD2# Silva lands a big head kick that sends Costa tumbling to the mat! Silva takes a step backwards and waves Costa back to his feet - he wants the finish!#ROC2# Costa is rocked! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Costa swings away with a leg kick that misses. Silva only half commits to the counter leg kick. Oh Costa is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Silva comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Costa tries a head kick but it misses.
A nice inside leg kick there by Silva. That's going to slow Costa down. Costa seems to have got his legs back now. Silva and Costa are patiently standing in front of each other looking for an opening. Silva throws a head kick. It's landed, knocking Costa into next week! Ooooh that was huge! Silva knows it - he's on the cage flexing is biceps. That's a bit weird considering he won by kick but whatever.

Reagan wants to counter the offense by Costa and move into the clinch position. Reagan fails with a takedown attempt.#CL2# The fight moves into the clinch position. Costa wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

#TD# Ayub jumps guard.
Costa is fighting to break Ayub's control of his arms but Ayub is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Costa stopping the sweep attempt from Ayub. Ayub throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Costa wants to get up but he can't break Ayub's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Ayub looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Ayub is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. #REVR# We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ayub moves nicely into side control. Costa tries to improve position but can't. #T1##SU# Ayub decides to stand back up. Costa misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Costa scores with a one two! Ayub had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. #CUT2# It looks like Naku Ayub has been cut. Mauricio Costa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.#CL# Ayub forces Costa back against the cage and clinches. Ayub taking a breather. Ayub is trying to pull guard but Costa turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Ayub is working for takedown but Costa is calmly controlling the position for now. Ayub keeps control of Costa as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Ayub takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. #TD# Ayub works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Ayub wants to control from the top but Costa keeps moving. #T2# Costa throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Ayub slips nicely into half guard. Ayub content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Costa tries to kick Ayub off but Ayub keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Ayub lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!#SUB# Ayub seems to be looking for submissions.
#T3# Ayub is nestled in close to Costa, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.#SUB# Ayub is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Costa doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Ayub. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Ayub is thwarting Costa's attempts to control the position.#T4# A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Ayub content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. #SU# Ayub stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. Costa feints a jab promting Ayub to slip. Costa then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Ayub slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Costa misses with a head kick.
A right-left combo lands from Costa. #ROC2# Ayub is rocked! Ayub finds himself stumbling back on wobbly legs after being clipped by a right hand. He's up against the cage, ducking and weaving under Costa's strikes but an uppercut finds it's way through and Ayub falls! - He's completely out of it and the ref jumps in to save him!

#R1##TD# Penn closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Costa to the mat! Costa manages to get full guard. Penn loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Penn slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Costa trying to keep a closed guard but Penn is proving a slippery customer.
Penn stays in close to Costa's body and controls the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#T1##REF3# The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Penn shoots for a double leg takedown but Costa sprawls well. He's pushed Penn's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Costa keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Costa misses with the combination.
#TD# Penn shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.#SUB# Penn drops back looking for a leg! Costa is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Costa manages to kick Penn off! Penn jumps back into Costa's guard. #T2# Penn not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Penn postures up.

Penn looks for a takedown but Costa sprawls well. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jason Dee Penn. That's going to take a lot out of him. Costa lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Penn backs up against the cage.

Costa thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Rip to his feet! Rip is in big trouble!#ROC# Rip is rocked! Costa lands with a right and another and another! Rip is in big trouble! Costa lands again and this time it's lights out for Rip! A quality knockout there for Costa.

#R1# Costa bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. A nice leg kick lands there from Costa. Larkin tries to bum rush Costa with a series of wild strikes but Costa uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Larkin takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. A punch combination from Larkin misses. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Larkin throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Larkin shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Larkin is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
#CUT2# It looks like Lorenz Larkin has been cut. No joy there for Costa, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Larkin misses with a series of wild punches.
Larkin throws a right and a left that both miss. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!#KD2# Oooooh!!! Costa has knocked Larkin down with a huge combo! Larkin takes a kick to the side of the head. Whack! Costa lands a heavy head kick that drops Larkin. The ref tackles Costa to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Larkin was done.

#R1# Costa feints a jab promting Pepe to slip. Costa then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Pepe slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.#CUT2# It looks like Pepe Pepe has been cut. Costa scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.#CL# Pepe gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Pepe goes for a takedown in the clinch but Costa prevents it.
Pepe lands a left hand that snaps the head of Costa backwards. Costa on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Costa gets underhooks to prevent Pepe's takedown attempt.
Costa is looking to break free of the clinch but Pepe has double underhooks. Pepe drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Costa gets the underhooks and prevents it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Pepe Pepe. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pepe fails to pull guard.

Costa throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Pepe stumbling backwards into the cage! Pepe bounces back off the cage towards Costa, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Costa lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Costa celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
