Masvidal shoots in for a takedown but Sane shows good takedown defense.
Masvidal throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Sane's waist but Sane gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Masvidal off to one side.
Justin Sane has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Diego Masvidal .
A jab from Sane finds it's way through Masvidal 's defenses.
Sane tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Masvidal was well out of range. Poor timing from Sane.
Sane lands a right hook to the body.
Sane connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Masvidal walks straight into a right hand from Sane - that's dropped him! Sane jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Masvidal from any more punishment! Masvidal complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
