Hobson misses with a looping left.#CL2# Hobson clinches up with Benson and pushes him back against the cage. Benson is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Benson is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Hobson to keep the fight standing. Hobson works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Karl Benson. That's going to take a lot out of him. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Hobson lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Benson or not. #T1# A quick uppercut on the inside from Hobson. Hobson softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Hobson creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. #ROC2# Benson is rocked! Hobson lands with a light punch inside. Oh Benson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Benson throws a punch but it's blocked by Hobson. Hobson throws a big uppercut that drops Benson! More strikes from Hobson and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Benson lies dazed against the cage as Hobson celebrates with his cornermen!

#R1##TD2# Tucker gets caught flat footed, as Benson shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Tucker is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Benson is controlling him. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Benson passes into half guard. Tucker wants to improve his position but Benson is controlling well.
Benson looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Tucker with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Benson working over Tucker with some ground and pound. Tucker looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Benson tries to stand and escape but Tucker is controlling the position. #T1# Benson wants to free his trapped foot but Tucker is holding on for dear life with his legs. Benson not landing any meaningful shots this time. Tucker pushes Benson off looking to stand but Benson dives back in and keeps control.
Tucker might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Benson is looking to advance position but Tucker won't allow it. Benson wants to get back to his feet.

He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Tucker was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Benson manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Abdul Tucker has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Karl Benson is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Tucker missing with the ground and pound from half guard.

Nice strikes from Benson there. Benson prevents Barker from improving his position. Well, if Benson is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#T1# Barker is looking for a sweep. Benson is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
