#R1# A combination from Ankokushin does no damage. A punch combination from Ankokushin misses. Ankokushin sets himself, and Madd steps forward looking for the clinch! Ankokushin avoids it this time.#TD2# Madd shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Madd showed some decent athleticism there. Madd throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Madd missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Ankokushin avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Madd. Madd thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Ankokushin's head. Madd not landing any meaningful shots this time. Madd scoring with strikes to the body and head. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Madd not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Madd throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Ankokushin is breathing heavily. Madd scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Ankokushin taking some punishment here, with Madd in his half guard. Ankokushin keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. #T1# Madd scores with a couple of good hammerfists.#ROC2# Ankokushin is rocked! Ankokushin on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Oh Ankokushin is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Madd connects with a nice short shot to Ankokushin's temple. Madd scores with a big shot! Ankokushin's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Ankokushin! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!
