He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. #ES# Espinoza kicks off Jameson and gets to his feet. #CL2# Jameson moves into range and clinches up with Espinoza. Espinoza is working for takedown but Jameson is calmly controlling the position for now. Espinoza tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Jameson smiles and moves away.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Jameson has eaten all the pies!#TD2# Jameson shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Espinoza napping and manages to drive through into side control! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Espinoza is not content to let Jameson control the position. Jameson must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Bowers is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Bowers holds on and takes a little breather. Jameson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bowers.
