Black distracts Sanford with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Black has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Black is fighting to break Sanford's control of his arms but Sanford is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Black trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Sanford knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Black on the ground. Black preventing the sweep. Sanford looking to control.

Sanford is trying to keep Valyras in close.
