Bright throws a punch but it's blocked by Miroshnichenko. Bright keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Miroshnichenko's efforts to push away.#TD# Bright drags the fight down to the ground.

Bright is looking to improve his position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bright moves into full guard.
#T1# Bright is pulling down on Miroshnichenko's head. It's preventing any offense from Miroshnichenko, at least for the moment. Miroshnichenko looking to sit in guard and control but Bright gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. #REVR# Miroshnichenko throws a nice elbow from the bottom. Bright scoring with some ground and pound. Bright trying to stand up but can't free himself from Miroshnichenko's guard.#SUB2# Miroshnichenko working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bright doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Bright manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Miroshnichenko trying to control the position.
#T2##SU# Bright stands up from guard. Let's bang! Bright really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.#TD2# Miroshnichenko scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Miroshnichenko seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Bright does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Bright is looking for a sweep. Miroshnichenko is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Bright regains full guard. Nicely done. Bright controlling the position. Miroshnichenko wants to pass the guard but Bright is keeping the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Miroshnichenko trying to control but Bright is working from the bottom. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.#T3# Bright manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Miroshnichenko manages to get himself to full guard.
#REVR# Hammerfist, elbow! yells Bright's corner. There ya go! There ya go! #SU# Bright gets to his feet - Miroshnichenko follows without any prompting. Miroshnichenko looks winded!#TD# Bright looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Bright wants to stand but Miroshnichenko has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now. #SUB# Bright is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

The ref makes him back up and allows Miroshnichenko to get to his feet. #TD# Bright feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.#SU# Bright gets to his feet - Miroshnichenko follows without any prompting. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Bright avoids the body shot from Miroshnichenko.
#TD# Bright manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Miroshnichenko on his heels. He'll look to pass Miroshnichenko's guard now, I'm sure. Bright working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Miroshnichenko's head.#SU# Bright stands up and waves to Miroshnichenko to follow him. Bright shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Miroshnichenko pinned against the cage. Miroshnichenko gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. #TD# Bright drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Fabian Bright dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! #R2# Miroshnichenko takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Miroshnichenko. Bright chopping away at his opponent's legs.
#TD2# Miroshnichenko shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Miroshnichenko is keen to just control but Bright is a slippery customer. He's hooked one of Miroshnichenko's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Miroshnichenko's back!
