#R1# Jamison scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. York doesn't seem bothered though. Jamison throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. York shoots in but no luck this time. Jamison throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
York shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Jamison as he avoids it easily. York shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Jamison but Jamison pushes him off and we're back to square one. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Cyrus York. That's going to take a lot out of him. Jamison misses with a low kick. York tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Jamison defends well and York ends up having to push Jamison into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Jamison drops down looking to force a counter takedown but York defends it well. Jamison tries to bum rush York with a series of wild strikes but York uses good footwork to avoid the assault. York takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Jamison lands a nice shot that snaps York's head back.
This has been an exciting period of action! Jamison keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.#T1# York fails with a takedown attempt. Jamison throws a head kick but York moves out of range.
#TD2# Jamison drives through with a takedown into guard. Jamison stands up over York, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Jamison controls the pace of the fight for a moment. York keeping full guard, as Jamison tries to pass. Jamison is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. My spies in Montreal Fighter's Gym (5* Sparring) inform me that Jamison has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!#T2# Jamison cracks York with a solid left hand.#SUB# York is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Jamison defends well. York looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Jamison landing with the ground and pound. Jamison makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Jamison is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.#T3# York keeping full guard, as Jamison tries to pass. Jamison working some strikes from top position. Jamison stands up over York, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Jamison postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Jamison's corner. There ya go! There ya go! #T4# York is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Jamison dives into side control.

That's hurt York! Will he recover? Jamison fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!

#R1##TD2# York closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Aguilar tries to improve position but can't. York scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Aguilar to see if he's OK.#ROC2# Aguilar is rocked! York cracks Aguilar with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! York immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Aguilar is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by York!
