#R1# Ledford avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Trout throws a jab when Ledford was well out of range.#CL2# Ledford has taken the fight to the clinch.
#TD2# Ledford has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Trout clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Will Ledford go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?
Ledford missing with strikes from the back. #SUB2# Ledford looking for the choke but no joy. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. You can see the frustration on Trout's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

What can Trout do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
Ledford is striking well from the back but Trout escapes and manages to control the positon and works his way to half guard. A much better position - the crisis is over for the time being. Ledford is nestled in close to Trout, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.#T2##SUB2# Ledford is trying to work for a kimura. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Trout manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Trout is trying desperately to improve position. In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Ledford working his ground and pound in the gym. Trout taking shots to the head. Ledford throws some wild stikes that Trout manages to avoid easily.
Trout is trying to escape the mount.
Ledford can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Trout is looking to escape. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.#SUB2# Ledford with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

#R1##TD2# Ledford feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.#SUB# Mcintyre looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Ledford passes into side control.
#SUB2# Ledford thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Mcintyre is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Ledford off and has taken his back! Ledford trying to control the hands but Mcintyre breaks the grip. Mcintyre throwing sloppy strikes. #T1# Ledford turns into Mcintyre and is now in his guard.
Ledford lands a couple of elbows. Ledford content to stall in guard here. Ledford advances to half guard. Mcintyre controlling the position well. Ledford wants to lay and pray for a moment but Mcintyre keeps working. #T2# Ledford thows a huge punch but Mcintyre dodges it nicely.
