#R1# A punch combination from Serra misses. Baird changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Baird lands a jab-cross combination. Serra wants to clinch up but Baird keeps it at a distance. Baird leaves Serra with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Serra takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Serra pulls out of a head kick attempt.
A jab from Baird does it's job there. Macadam Baird seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Baird's jab looks to have found its range, popping Serra under the eye. Serra is trying hard to land a takedown here. Baird sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Serra takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Serra shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Baird pinned against the cage. Baird gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Macadam Baird has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Matt Serra.#T1# Baird wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Serra tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Baird was well out of range. Poor timing from Serra. Baird fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Serra on the side of the head. Baird smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.#TD# Baird throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Serra was covering up waiting for the punch and Baird finishes the takedown easily into guard. Baird sitting in guard here, content to control. Serra tries to land a sweep but no joy. Serra has momentary wrist control but Baird slips an elbow through the middle. Baird scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Baird stands up over Serra, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. #T2# Baird chips away with some ground and pound. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Baird controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Baird advances to half guard. Baird looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Baird works his way into side control. Baird working the head and body with strikes. Baird cracks Serra with a big right hand but Serra just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Serra is trying to escape the position but Baird is controlling the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Serra is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Baird off and has taken his back! Serra controlling well, preventing Baird from escaping the position.

Baird cracks a nice hook into Serra's ribs. Serra gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Baird. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Baird dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Serra takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Serra shoots for a takedown but Baird saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Baird cracks Serra with an open hand slap. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Baird getting the better of the striking in that exchange.#T1# Baird thuds a left hand into Serra's body. It looks like Baird has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him. Serra takes one on the button. Serra is breathing heavily. Serra tries to score a power double leg takedown but Baird sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Serra somewhat. Macadam Baird has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Matt Serra. Serra walks straight into an uppercut. The ref has dived in to save Serra from any more punishment!

#R1# Dahok throws a right hand that Serra ducks under and follows up with a left that Serra also avoids with ease. Serra throws a body punch but Dahok moves out of range. Dahok scores with a nice right hand.
Dahok throws the left hand but Serra avoids the punch easily. Serra tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Dahok throws a right and a left that Serra avoids nicely. Serra shoots in but no luck this time. Dahok lands with a nice combination. Serra backs away looking to recover.#CUT# It looks like Matt Serra has been cut. Dahok throws a nice looking combination but Serra bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Dahok lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Dahok dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Dahok lands with a right hand. Dahok lands the left hand. Serra takes one on the button. Serra throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Dahok. Dahok connects with a body shot. Dahok is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.#T1# Serra fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Dahok lands the left hand. Serra looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Dahok lands a jab. Dahok lands a jab to Serra's midsection. Serra takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Darren Dahok is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Dahok uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Dahok throws a nice inside leg kick. Serra is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Dahok digs a good body shot into Serra's ribs.#T2# Dahok scores with a shot to the body.
This has been an exciting period of action! Serra throws a head kick that misses. Serra fails with the takedown and Dahok counters with a right hand to the body. Darren Dahok has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Matt Serra. Serra wants to clinch up but Dahok keeps it at a distance. Dahok keeps the fight on the outside. Serra throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Serra takes one to the chin there. Darren Dahok seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Serra has his takedown stuffed and Dahok connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Serra is defended easily by Dahok.#T3# A nice leg kick lands there from Dahok. A right-left combo lands from Dahok. Serra takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Serra looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Dahok is fending him off so far but Serra persists. Nope, Dahok circles away and we're back to standing. Dahok is looking to counter punch. Serra looks winded! Serra looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Dahok looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger. Dahok lands a right hook to the body.
Dahok getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Serra is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and Dahok moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.

#R1##TD# Serra gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Masters to score an easy takedown into full guard. Masters wants to control from the top but Serra keeps moving. Masters controls from within his opponent's guard. Serra is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Masters won't allow Serra to sweep him here. Masters throwing strikes from guard but Serra blocks nicely. Serra looking to hit a scissor sweep but Masters is one step ahead there. #T1# Masters trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Serra managing to control the position. #REF3# The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Serra misses with a takedown attempt - Masters sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Serra darts in looking for a takedown but Masters gets double underhooks and turns Serra into the cage. Masters appears to be looking for a big counter. A big right from Masters misses. Masters takes a swing at Serra's ribcage but misses. Masters avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Masters keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage. Serra is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Masters pulls him back up using the underhooks. Tommy Masters has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Matt Serra.#TD# Masters has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Serra uses from the top position. Serra passes Masters's right leg, so he's now in half guard. That was a close round but I would say that Tommy Masters will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. Serra is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Serra is staying active underneath Masters, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Masters blocks the strikes from Serra.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!#TD# Masters has hold of one of Serra's legs. Serra is fighting the takedown attempt but Masters gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.#ES2# Serra wriggles free and stands up. Serra fails to land the takedown.#TD# Serra gets caught napping as Masters dives in and scores a takedown. He's now in the guard on the top. #REVB# Serra lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.#SU2# Masters is working an open guard so Serra takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.#TD2# Serra closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Masters's guard.#SUB# Masters has his foot on Serra's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Serra works his way back into a safe position though. Masters lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.#REVR##T4# Masters trying to control but Serra is working from the bottom. Serra pulls Masters in close to prevent any damage. Masters wants to control from the top but Serra keeps moving. Serra can't keep his opponent in guard - Masters advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

#R1##CL2# Donkashane gets in close and instigates a clinch. #TD2# Donkashane turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Serra is trying to improve his position. Donkashane postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
#SUB2# Donkashane has hold of Serra's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Serra seems comfortable defending it but Donkashane has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Serra is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Serra is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Donkashane couldn't care less - he's delighted!

Apple lands a hook that snaps the head of Serra backwards. Apple tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Serra's elbow. Apple should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Apple lands with a short head shot on the inside. Serra tries for a takedown. No joy.
Serra drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Serra is working for takedown but Apple is calmly controlling the position for now. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Matt Serra. That's going to take a lot out of him. Apple holding his opponent close, against the cage.
Apple digs a right hand underneath Serra's ribcage. Serra let out a lung full of air as it connected. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A right hand to the body from Apple.

Laston is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Laston flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Serra anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Laston and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Serra slips an arm under Laston chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Serra has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Serra is squeezing on Laston like an anaconda would it's prey. Laston fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
