Snyder drops down looking for a counter takedown but Nelson sprawls and moves away. Nelson misses with a kick to the body.
Snyder moves to clinch but Nelson breaks away and Nelson counters with a one-two to the body. #KD2# Nelson lands a left and a right that send Snyder crashing to the mat, dazed. Nelson thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!#CUT2# It looks like Monte Snyder has been cut. Russell Nelson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Nelson lands a really nice looking cross but Snyder seems unphased.
#ROC2# Snyder is rocked! Nelson lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Snyder crumples to the floor! Nelson milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!

#R1##TD2# Excellent takedown into side control there by Robles. Robles cracks Snyder with a big right hand but Snyder just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Robles lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Snyder down.
Snyder is trying to improve his position. Snyder is working to avoid the ground and pound but Robles connects with a decent elbow. Robles creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Robles creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Snyder sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Snyder seems a little lost for a moment, as Robles dominates the positioning. Snyder wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Snyder avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Robles. Snyder can't do much from the bottom here. Snyder sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Robles working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Robles is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Robles winds up and cracks Snyder with a swinging punch to the side of the head. #T1# Robles throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. #T4# Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Nice strikes from Snyder there. Snyder thows a huge punch but Robles dodges it nicely.

It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Robles manages to end up in side control. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Oh but he could get punished here because Snyder has locked up a guillotine! Snyder's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Robles is holding on here and Snyder must be using up a lot of energy. Robles has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Snyder gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!

Dany Wag showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Snyder looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Wag feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Snyder's calf. Wag connects with a solid leg kick. Snyder on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wag scores with a jab to the jaw. Wag with a lazy takedown attempt #CL# and Snyder counters into the clinch. Nicely done. #TD# Snyder decides to pull guard. #T1# Snyder pulls Wag in close to prevent any damage. Wag lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. Wag throws a body punch but Snyder moves out of range. Snyder tries to counter with a takedown but Wag is quick to defend against it.
And that's the end of the fight! Dany Wag comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Wag has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
