Swaheli content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Chunky working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Swaheli. #SUB# Chunky throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Swaheli throwing strikes from guard but Chunky blocks nicely. Swaheli lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.#SUB# Chunky looking for a triangle here. Swaheli is fighting it but it looks tight! Chunky pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Swaheli is tapping out - this one is all over!

#R1##TD# England decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. England trying to control from Swaheli's half guard. Swaheli has other ideas though and has regained full guard. England wants to control from the top but Swaheli keeps moving. England looking to sit in guard and control but Swaheli gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. #REVB# England will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Swaheli throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. England keeping moving, preventing Swaheli from controlling successfully. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Swaheli postures up.
England wants to sweep but no luck. Swaheli makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. #R1# A looping hook to the body misses from Shankariya. Swaheli does a little dance to reset his feet. Swaheli attempts a counter takedown but Shankariya avoids it well and moves away. Shankariya tries to bum rush Swaheli with a series of wild strikes but Swaheli uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Swaheli tries to counter with a takedown but Shankariya is quick to defend against it. Shankariya uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Swaheli has time to react. A jab from Shankariya misses. Swaheli takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
#TD# Swaheli bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Swaheli working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Shankariya really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Swaheli. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Shankariya taking punishment in the form of punches.
